Restaurant Holy Cow, Fribourg

Holy Cow is a Swiss chain of gourmet hamburgers that are sourced locally. Their restaurant in Fribourg is located in the center of the city in the pedestrian Rue de Lausanne, close to the cathedral.

Located in an old house, the Holy Cow restaurant in Fribourg features a classical wooden interior, far from the traditional fast food plastic furnitures. The burgers of the Holy Cow range from the traditional (Beef, Big Cheese), to the modern (Bacon & Avocado, Elvis Blue Cheese) and the exotic (Viva Espana  with beef, toasted goat’s cheese, honey glazed chorizo and hot chilli). The Fribourg Holy Cow restaurant features a Freiburger burger that includes the classic Vacherin cheese from the Fribourg area and a sauce made out of local wine. Artisanal beer for the Doctor Gab’s Swiss microbrewery and home-made syrup are available as drinks besides the classical sodas.
