Located in a remote part of Gruyere in the Charmey valley, the restaurant La Pinte des Mossettes has a long tradition of offering fine gastronomic cuisine based on local plants. The Swiss Michelin guide 2017 edition has awarded one star this restaurant.
The restaurant La Pinte des Mossettes in Cergniat has been taken over at the beginning of 2016 by Romain Paillereau, the former chef of the La Cène restaurant in Fribourg where he also conquered a Michelin star. It took him only one year to reach the same award for the Pinte des Mossettes restaurant. The menu is short, offering just two prix fixe menus for 88 and 108 francs. The cuisine offers a modern and creative interpretation of some classic of French gastronomy, where the plates look like colorful artworks decorated with flowers. If the weather if nice, you will enjoy your gastronomic experience on the wonderful terrace that offers a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains.
