Zurich Airport

The Zurich Airport, also known as Zurich Kloten Airport, or Zurich Flughafen in German, is the largest international airport of Switzerland. It takes about 2 hours to reach Fribourg by car on the highway from the airport. The Swiss national railways have a station at Zurich Airport and you can reach Fribourg in 1h40 with trains departing every half-hour.

Zurich Airport is the main hub of the Swiss airline company (formerly Swissair) and is also served by all major airlines in Europe. It also hosts intercontinental flights from companies like Air Canada, Air China, Air India, American Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Delta Airlines, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Quatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, United Airlines, etc. You can also fly to Zurich with low-cost airlines like Air Berlin or Easyjet.
